Welcome back APHS Students & Families!
We wanted to take this opportunity to let you know that we have late buses available for students this year on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons that school is in session. Our Extra-curricular Clubs and Activities are meeting in-person (see link to schedule b). In addition, students may pre-arrange to stay after school with their teachers to get extra help.
Students that plan to stay after school to work with a teacher or for Extra-curricular clubs or activities must follow the following steps:
- Students staying with a particular teacher must Pre-Arrange a day/time with their teacher, to stay after school.
- Students staying after school for an Extracurricular club or activity, this meeting must be a scheduled meeting with the advisor. Here’s a link to the Extracurricular Clubs and Activities Meeting Days & Times 2021-22
- Once that is done, students that will need to use District transportation home must complete this Google Form: https://forms.gle/gCw9Nos6ppopUJcn7 NO LATER THAN 9 AM on the day they are staying after. This is necessary for the transportation department to have adequate time to plan late bus runs.
- Only students who have signed up by 9 am to stay with specific teachers, with that teacher’s consent, or have a scheduled club or activity are allowed to stay after school each day.
This Google Form is a shared one, which will be used by both AMS and APHS students for those that need to use District transportation. Late buses will depart from the HS at 3:25 pm. For students who provide their own transportation and no late buses are needed, you DO NOT need to sign up on the Google form.
Please note that Wynantskill UFSD will not be providing any late buses this year.
