POSITION AVAILABLE: COVID Testing Coordinator/Contact Tracer

NATURE AND SCOPE OF POSITION:
This position is responsible for providing District COVID testing support services and contact tracing for students and staff exposed to COVID. Completes other duties as assigned. The work is performed under the general supervision of the Safety Coordinator.
QUALIFICATIONS: • Licensed RN preferred
• Graduation from a regionally accredited or New York State registered college or university with a Bachelor’s Degree in related sciences OR
• Graduation from a regionally accredited or New York State registered college or university with an Associate’s Degree in related sciences and two (2) years of professional work experience with a public agency or private business in working as a COVID testing site coordinator or in a related COVID coordinator role
DUTIES: • Coordinate and oversee all aspects of school-based COVID screening testing;
• Coordinate related staff for testing in schools, develop and implement schedule for each school’s testing schedule, collect and report testing data to NYSDOH;
• Create testing database and prepare reports as necessary;
• Serve as a liaison between Averill Park CSD, Questar and Rensselaer County DOH;
• Prepare and complete required daily reporting to NYSDOH and ECLRS systems;
• Assist with District nursing duties as needed;
• Perform other duties as assigned.
SALARY: As per APTA Agreement
