WARRIOR WEDNESDAY – TEAM BUILDING

Yesterday, the school conducted its second Warrior Wednesday of the year. Students worked together as a Morning Meeting group to complete activities with this month’s theme of “Team Building.”

Our activities included a challenge called “Team of Artists.” Additionally, students engaged in community building circle discussions focused on the importance of collaboration, cooperation and interpersonal skills.

We encourage you to ask your child about the Morning Meeting Challenge and our community circle discussion. Our next Warrior Wednesday is coming up quickly – November 3, when our focus will be on Friendships and Trust. Thank you.

PLEASE HAVE STUDENTS WEAR LAYERS

As the fall progresses and we continue to offer as much outside activity as possible, including lunch, we would like to encourage all of our students to wear layers each day to school.

Please note that students are not allowed to wear blankets in school.

Wearing layers will help students be ready for outdoor activities, as well as our increased fresh air in the building with open windows.
