From Saturday (10/23) to Monday (10/25) the Averill Park Central School District was notified that two students at West Sand Lake Elementary School, two students at Averill Park High School, one employee at Poestenkill Elementary School, one student at Miller Hill-Sand Lake Elementary School, one student at Algonquin Middle School, and one employee in the Transportation Department have tested positive for the COVID-19 virus. School-based contact tracing has been completed and all those affected have been notified.
