Since December 23, the Averill Park Central School District has been notified that one staff member and one student at Averill Park High School, one staff member at Algonquin Middle School, and one student at West Sand Lake Elementary School have tested positive for the COVID-19 virus. School-based contact tracing has been completed and all those affected have been notified.
