Since Thursday, December 30, the Averill Park Central School District has been notified that 16 students and four staff members at Averill Park High School, two students at Miller Hill-Sand Lake Elementary School, two students and one staff member at Poestenkill Elementary School, two students and two staff members at Algonquin Middle School, two students at West Sand Lake Elementary School, one staff member in the Transportation Department, and one staff member in the Buildings and Grounds Department have tested positive for the COVID-19 virus. School-based contact tracing has been completed and all those affected have been notified.
