  7. Quarantine & Isolation Guidance...

The latest policy regarding the duration of quarantine and isolation was communicated on Friday.

As an update to this guidance, the reduction from a 10-day to a 5-day quarantine is retroactive and will now include anyone who tested positive prior to Friday, January 7. Please remember that the day of the positive test or beginning of symptoms is considered “Day 0.” Students must also go through the  County Department of Health process to obtain a release before returning to school.

Therefore, anyone who has tested positive for COVID-19 before Friday, January 7, and who meets the new criteria found in the guidance, can return on Day 6. For example, someone who tested positive on or before January 4 would be eligible to return on January 10 as long as their County DOH release has been submitted to their school nurse.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.
