On Friday, January 21, the Averill Park Central School District was notified of four confirmed positive cases of the COVID-19 virus, including two students at Averill Park High School, one student at West Sand Lake Elementary School, and one student at Poestenkill Elementary School. School-based contact tracing has been completed and all those affected have been notified.
