Students in Mrs. Antonucci’s class at West Sand Lake Elementary School worked hard on a Black History Month project.
The project was inspired by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.‘s I have a dream speech. After having the discussion with students regarding the meaning of that speech in history, and what it means today, each student received a square of the final poster project to decorate and create. Then they were challenged with the task of working together to piece together all of their squares to create a final poster exercising patience, tolerance and teamwork involving all of their unique strengths. Great job everyone!
