Last week a group of 23 APHS students visited Hudson Valley Community College. Students had an opportunity to experience the welding, automotive and electrical programs. Some were even given an opportunity to weld on a simulator. Students were very engaged and asked a lot of great questions.
The general tour focused on Admissions, Financial Aid and the more traditional academics. Students were given the opportunity to tour the multi-million dollar science building, observing working labs and classes in session.
Staff from the CAAT office and the Center for Academic Engagement talked about all the support and help that is available on campus.
