During the last week of school students in 6th grade Literacy performed monologues and dialogues as part of a Readers’ Theater project of medieval characters from the book, “Good Masters! Sweet Ladies! Voices From a Medieval Village” by Laura Amy Schlitz.
They practiced for a week to perfect their fluency and for some, their “English accents.” In addition, students were also studying the middle ages in English and Social Studies and wrapped up their 6th-grade experience by viewing “A Kid in King Arthur’s Court.”
