  7. AMS Start of School...

AMS Students and Families:

Below are a few reminders and updates as we prepare for the start of school on Tuesday, September 6th at 7:45am.

To help everyone get ready for the start of the school year we have created this Welcome Back Webpage which holds all sorts of information about the year ahead, including our Welcome Back Video and materials shared in the spring for the Grade 6 Transition.

We are excited to see everyone next week!

Sincerely,
Robert Messia, Principal
Brian Rhode, Assistant Principal
Algonquin Middle School

MORNING MEETING ROOMS, LOCKERS AND SCHEDULES:

All Algonquin students should have received a letter last week informing them of their Morning Meeting Room for the upcoming school year.

All students will receive their course schedules on the first day of school.

Students will receive their locker information later in September.

GRADE 6 FAMILY VISIT:

As a reminder our Grade 6 Family Visit Program will take place on Thursday, September 2nd from 5:00pm until 7:00pm. This is a drop-in event. Please stop by when it is convenient for your family. The APO will be on hand for their famous annual Stewart’s Ice Cream Social in the cafeteria, with ice cream sundaes costing $1.00. More information about this event can be found in our Grade 6 Family Visit Video. We hope our Grade 6 families can join us on Thursday evening for this fun event!
