During a Board of Education meeting on November 14, 2022, Ashley Champitto was granted tenure!
Ms. Champitto has been working in the Averill Park Central School District for four years as a teacher at West Sand Lake Elementary School.
As the oldest of five children in her family, she always enjoyed helping her younger siblings and naturally gravitated toward becoming a teacher. Ms. Champitto stated that her favorite part about working in education is seeing students learn and grow each year, and impacting their lives.
Fun Fact! Ms. Champitto enjoys running and completes at least one half marathon each year.
