Good morning APHS students, parents and guardians,
As we enter into a week of potential irregularities, at the same time that we have Regents exams for some students at APHS, we would like to share the following important alternate plans in the case of weather-related cancellations/closures or delays, as they relate to students taking a Regents exam.
If we need to have an early release on Wednesday, January 25:
- We will NOT administer the Geometry Regents, scheduled to begin at 8 am on that day.
- We will NOT administer the Algebra Regents, scheduled to begin at 12 pm on that day.
If we need to open on a delay on the morning of Thursday, January 26:
- We will NOT administer the Global History Regents, scheduled to begin at 8 am on that day.
If we need to close school on Thursday, January 26:
- In addition to not administering the Global History Regents, we will also not administer the Algebra 2 Regents, scheduled to begin at 12 pm on that day.
Please note that any of the above exams which are not administered on their original day to weather-related interruptions, will be rescheduled to occur on Friday, January 27 at 8 am.
As we move through the week, we will keep you posted on each of these events, and provide more information, as needed.
