  7. Pipes Burst at APHS...

Despite taking all necessary precautions by the close of the day on Friday, February 3, unanticipated power outages and “brown outs”, combined with frigid temperatures, led to multiple coils breaking and pipes bursting in the High School building over the weekend.

Multiple rooms and offices suffered significant water damage as a result. Thank you to our Buildings and Grounds personnel for their quick response. Staff members were on-site Friday night and throughout Saturday and Sunday, mitigating the damage. Their hard work and dedication ensured the High School was operational and ready for students this morning.

Thank you to the community for supporting the recently passed Capital Project referendum, which includes an emergency generator for the High School building that may assist in situations such as this in the future.
