On Tuesday, May 16, residents of the Averill Park Central School District will vote on a proposed $64.9 million budget for the 2023-24 school year that maintains a rigorous academic curriculum and supports diverse music, arts, extracurricular and athletic programs despite limited State Aid. The budget includes a 2.99% tax levy, which is below the state’s statutory Property Tax Cap limit.

Voting will take place in the High School Auxiliary Gymnasium from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Absentee ballots are also available to be picked up at the District Office. If you require an absentee ballot, please contact the District prior to arriving.

In addition to the budget, voters will elect two (2) candidates to the Board of Education and will decide on a bus purchase proposition, along with a Capital Reserve Fund.
