Our first selected teacher is one that gives 110% to her students. A third grade teacher at West Sand Lake Elementary, please join us in congratulating ✨Carrie Guyer!✨
Carrie was nominated by Shannon Woodle, the Public Information Specialist for the Greater Capitol Region Teacher Center. Speaking of Ms. Guyer, Woodle writes:
“Have you ever met someone and thought, “Wow! She really loves what she does!?” That’s how I feel about Carrie Guyer. From the moment you meet her, it’s hard to imagine her doing anything other than teaching children. I guess that’s why she’s been such an incredible teacher for the past 25 years!
“As a parent, I am thankful that Carrie works so hard to ensure that I know what my son is learning and experiencing every day. Never one to boast, I’m certain Carrie would say she’s just doing her job. But I would be remiss if I didn’t tell as many people as I could the difference someone like Carrie makes in the lives of these children every single day.”
