Algonquin Middle School’s Daniel McAlonie won 4th place in the state for the VFW Patriots Pen essay contest!
Dan was the top winner of the contest at the regional level, which advanced him to the state round of the competition. Over the weekend, he attended a recognition dinner where he received a plaque and a cash prize. Way to go, Dan!
