Engaging instruction is rarely about a person standing in front of the room while students passively listen. It’s about students collaborating with one another, learning to explore and solve problems, working as teams, and taking an active role in their learning!
Mrs. Oldendorf, a Living Environment teacher at APHS, is one of five teachers piloting new furniture and room configurations which are aiming to enhance student learning through transitioning from passive instruction to active learning and real engagement.
