Congratulations to Rob Messia and Rachel Brown for being named the Averill Park CSD Employees of the Month for December, 2023!
As the Principal at Algonquin Middle School, Mr. Messia brings positivity to even the most challenging situations. He is a gifted multi-tasker and a progressive leader who genuinely cares about students, faculty, and staff members. His leadership style empowers those around him to do their best every day.
As the District’s Athletic Trainer, Ms. Brown works tirelessly throughout the year, during school vacations, and on weekends to ensure student-athletes are healthy and safe. She is very knowledgeable and trains coaches in CPR and First Aid, and has developed an emergency response plan.
