On March 23, PES hosted their science fair. Students shared a wide variety of amazing projects and experiments with the school community.
The PES PTA said the following in a recent newsletter:
“The PES PTA was honored to host an incredible group of student presenters at this past weekend’s Science Fair. Despite some wacky weather, the event had a great turn out and students proudly shared a wide variety of displays and experiments with all who attended.
Special thank you to our volunteer judges, Mrs Anadio, Mrs Dickinson, and Mrs Senter whose presence made for an extra special event! Thank you to the maintenance department for assuring a safe entrance and their support with the event.
Thank you to our guest presenters from GE Vernova, GE Aerospace Research, MiSci Schenectady, Dyken Pond Center, and RPI! And last but not least, big thanks to our generous donors who contributed to the extensive prize selection: 16 Handles, FunPlex Fun Park, Via Aquarium, Flight Trampoline Park, and Sky Zone plus the PTA for sponsoring the additional prizes: a solar robot kit, solar system kit, and a microscope! Thank you to the Science Fair committee for putting together this event: Casey Burr, Mikaela Ebitz, Kimm Lane, Lindsey Jones, and Michelle Valente.
