AMS celebrated their 21st Annual Richtol’s Read All Day on Thursday, May 9th. This day is a celebration of reading and literacy. RRAD is named in memory of Literacy teacher Ms. Richtol, who started this event.
AMS faculty/administration volunteered their time to read to classes. Thank you to Mr. DuMont, Mrs. Reinisch and Dr. Rhode who shared stories and musical gifts!
All AMS students were able to see presentations from award winning author John David Anderson and they had the opportunity to have lunch with him and have their books signed after school. To prepare for his visit, students participated in a door decorating contest based on his book Posted, which AMS read as part of its One Book, One School program. Mr. Anderson gave students a fun and memorable day!
