Position Available:
Heading Building Maintenance Mechanic
12 months per year, 7.5 hours per day, between the hours of 6:30 a.m. and 11:00 p.m.
Work assignment covers all buildings within the school district
Salary:
$53,000 plus benefits outlined in the Managerial/Confidential agreement
Qualifications:
- Eligibility from Civil Service Head Building Maintenance Mechanic list. If no list exists, candidate must be qualified and willing to sit for the examination
- Must have Refrigerant Transition and Recovery Certification
- Must be able to assist the Superintendent of Buildings and Grounds with the following duties
- Budgeting and ordering of materials
- Building inspections to ascertain repair needs and maintenance program
- Supervision of buildings staff
