Mrs. Haworth’s second graders wanted to show support for their classmate with Cystic Fibrosis.
On behalf of their special friend, they all decided to wear purple and hold their own Cystic Fibrosis walk in the hallways and classrooms of West Sand Lake Elementary School. The students did a great job raising awareness about this disease, as well as showing their friend how much they care about him.
In addition, some WSL students, along with several WSL teachers, were able to participate in the Great Strides Cystic Fibrosis Walk at The Crossings on May 18.
