 WARRIOR WAY ASSEMBLIES

Our final Warrior Way Assembly of the year was a great time for everyone involved. Please consider taking a moment to watch our 2018-19 highlight video, featuring photos from throughout the year and clips submitted by students and families reflecting the Warrior Way in action out in the greater world. Students also watched a news story about a group of middle schoolers who made a big impact on a young child and his family. A huge thank you goes out to Ms. Sheldon, our Jazz Band, Tuesday’s special music group of Tim Koval on piano, Dylan Sutton, Ryan Richter, Jason Strickland, Cavan Hicks and Kevin Clark. Coach Earl also did a rousing rendition of our Warrior Way Chant. Finally, a huge shout out goes to Mr. Anderson for all of his technical support in making our assemblies happen this year! FROM THE LIBRARY

Research shows if kids don’t read in the summer, they backslide in their skills, often called the “summer slide”. The attached article from the Times Union not only explains why reading in summer is so important, but it also gives great ideas to make learning fun this summer for the whole family.
Students still have overdue books. Please remind your child to return any books to the library. This is especially important as books get checked out for the summer and we close up the library. Thank you. -Mrs. Ekstrom
