Itinerant Special Education Teacher
To begin ASAP
DUTIES
• Provide 4 hours of weekly instructional support to homebound 1st grade student in home or community location
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Must be NYS certified in SPED K-12, SWD B-2, SWD 1-6, or Literacy B-6.
• Must be a team player and have excellent interpersonal skills, as well an understanding of literacy, NYS standards, IEP’s and disabilities
• Individual must possess good communication skills and work well with families.
• Must be self-motivated, organized and have an exceptional work ethic.
• Experience in elementary school settings and literacy preferred.
SALARY: $55/hour itinerant rate
