BLUE AND GOLD THEME DAY – FRIDAY

In honor of homecoming at APHS this weekend, Friday will be a Blue and Gold Theme Day at AMS. Please encourage your child to wear blue and gold on Friday. Thank you!

APO GLOW PARTY – FRIDAY OCT 18th

Get your ticket to the Glow Party happening Friday night at Algonquin (6:30 to 8:30 p.m.). Tickets are on sale for $6 during lunch. Tickets have to be purchased in advance and will not be sold at the door! Students should wear white or other light colors if they want to glow under the black lights. Please note that the AMS Glow Party is NOT a costume event. Snacks, drinks and glow sticks/jewelry will be available for purchase at the event. Games and music and lots of fun are in store.

Coding Club

The second session of the Coding Club will meet on Wednesday, Oct. 16 after school until 3:20 p.m.!
Your child will need to sign up in the library if they’d like to join us after school to code. They will take the late bus home or need a ride.

KIWANIS HOLIDAY AND FOOD DISTRIBUTION PROGRAM

School nurses in the Averill Park School District have been contacted by the Kiwanis Club of Sand Lake, NY, Inc. requesting that they forward to the Kiwanis Club the names of families that would like to participate in the Holiday Season Food and Toy Distribution Program. Mrs. Lanoue will forward to the Kiwanis Club only the names of those families who request to participate in this program. Please see attached for more information.
