A group of Miller Hill-Sand Lake Elementary students met with Principal Sibson recently to share their persuasive paragraphs.
The group of 3rd and 4th graders felt that the MH Tiger Paws of Be Safe, Be Respectful, and Be Responsible should include a paw for Be Kind. Students shared the importance of kindness in our school community and how it would encourage students to seek new opportunities to create connections with their peers. Students also shared suggestions of what could be written on each paw pad.
Principal Sibson was very impressed with the group’s suggestions and their approach to “Changing the Rules” as kids can work together to build a better world. Students also shared the many technology tools they used to create their great persuasive paragraphs!
