Twenty students attended the 37th Annual Portfolio Review Day last week at Russell Sage College.
During the event, students carried their art portfolio of 12-20 works of art and presented them to colleges and art schools from across the country. Students were given feedback on their artwork and were rated on the quality of their presented portfolio. In some cases, students were informally accepted into a college.
Participating schools included Alfred University, Boston University School of Visual Arts, California College of Arts, Fashion Institute of Technology (F.I.T.), Hartwick College, Lesley University, Long Island University Post, Montserrat College of Art, Moore College of Art & Design, Pratt MWP College of Art and Design, SUNY Fredonia, SUNY New Paltz, SUNY Potsdam, SUNY Purchase College, Syracuse University College of Visual and Performing Arts, The College of Saint Rose, The School of Art Institute of Chicago, The School of Visual Arts, and University of Hartford.
APHS students included Jessica Barbour, Lillian Bursey, Geoffrey Dawes, Gabrielle Deck, Logan Feathers, Victoria Guynup, Adrianna Maxfield, Miranda Minkler, Sean Ransford, Hannah Rivers, Lauren Wicks, Anella Olsen, Ashleigh Mein, John Martin, Fiona Carroll, Noah Bonesteel, Alex Heap, Delaney King, Spencer Johnson and Luke Pelcher.
