Members of the CSEA Averill Park Unit #8256 ran a food drive from Nov. 4 to Dec. 3 to benefit their very own students and families in their school district. A total of 880 items were collected and shared between the district pantries.
The below photo shows just a portion of the items collected. This awesome pantry program in the Averill Park Central School District provides food for our students. Students can shop the pantry every Friday with their school counselor and fill a backpack with items they like and need for themselves and their family. The CSEA would like to thank fellow members, staff and parents for helping to support this worthwhile cause.
