Six Averill Park High School seniors have been selected for the NYS Scholarship for Academic Excellence based on Regents Exam scores.
Congratulations to Hayden Chenette (missing from photo), Andrew Gorman, Triston Lincoln, Alexander Michaels, Eric Schuman and Lydia Ware on being selected!
If the students choose to attend a New York state college, they will be entitled to a monetary award. The student who scored the highest receives $1,500 while the other receive $500. The NYS budget must also pass for the students to be awarded.
