Averill Park CSD completed a long-range planning initiative to look closely at all of the district’s facilities as the district prepares for the next capital project. A committee composed of volunteers that represented parents, community members, faculty and staff, administrators and Board members convened approximately once a month from December 2017 until September 2018. This group presented their recommendations to the Board of Education in October 2018.  This committee was invaluable to the district in helping assess needs and provide the Board of Education with recommendations and input regarding the scope of the next capital project.
